Essence On Air! and Rimmel Midnight Mistletoe (Glitter Bomb)

Hi :)

On Air! is one of the new gel polishes from Essence. I’ve tried a few of the new gel polishes and they are fantastic! They are so smooth and shiny. They look like they have a great squishy layer of topcoat built in!

There’s also a new base and topcoat, I haven’t tried them but I will! I have to now because I can’t believe the difference in the gel polishes, I really love the formula so much! I wore polish without a topcoat for the first time in my life, that’s how great they look.

I also found another Rimmel Glitter Bomb, called Midnight Mistletoe; which is a red, green and holographic polish. The Glitter Bomb’s are really pretty and I put the two together and ended up with Christmas mani in May :)

Nails Inc You’re a Peach and BornPrettyStore Daisys! :)

Hi! :)

These nails were supposed to be for the April #NailLinkUp, but I’m a little late posting them!

When I saw the theme Spring Flowers, I actually squeeled, because BornPrettyStore sent me these gorgeous little 3D Daisy’s to review and I couldn’t wait to try them and how perfectly do they fit the theme?! (I know, I know, I get way too excited about nails!)

The daisy’s are made of a kind of soft, rubber material, so they are really nice to use. They’re also really cute! They come in all kinds of lovely colours and are $1.99 for two. If you use my discount code below then they’re even cheaper and don’t forget they do free worldwide delivery! (Do I sound like an infomercial? I just love these flingin’ flanin’ things so much! :)

The polish is a free Nails Inc that came with the June 2013 edition of InStyle, called You’re a Peach. It’s a pretty pastel colour and the formula is ok, but not as good as real Nails Inc polishes. (I swear the free ones are different!)

Sinful Colors Savage and L.A. Colors Confetti!

Hi :)

EDIT: Thanks to the girls on reddit! The name of the glitter is L.A. Colors Confetti :D

I need your help today! I don’t know the name of the glitter I used below, and I’m hoping one of you lovelies might recognize it :)

I bought a bottle of glitter, I think it was an american brand like Wet n Wild, and I dropped it and the bottle broke! I always keep an empty bottle of basecoat/topcoat in my dresser for just such an emergency, (a tip I picked up on MUA), and I poured what I could save into the empty OPI bottle and binned the broken bottle without checking the name!

Now I can’t remember the name or the brand! I was so busy trying to clean it up that I never wrote it down. :/ (P.s. there’s still a circle of glitter on my carpet – I kinda like it though! :)

The other polish is Sinful Colors Savage, one of polishes I hauled from Dealz, and it’s a really pretty green and it dried matte to my surprise! :)

Here’s a pic of the glitter, not in it’s original bottle, (it’s definitely not OPI), anyone? Any guesses? :)

It’s got red, gold, pink, silver and green glitter (the same colour as Savage.)

Sinful Colors Kissy

Hi :)

I kept on theme after St Patrick’s Day and wore another green. I found this fabulous green polish, with green and gold glassfleck, in Dealz/Poundland!

I actually found a pile of Sinful Colors, if I’m honest, the chap at the till looked really confused. Do any of you get weird looks when you buy a lot of nail polishes? (Do any of you buy nail polish in bulk? I can’t be alone here!)

This is two coats, the finish was gorgeous!

OPI A Roll in the Hague, Sinful Colors Envy and Snow Me White and Essie Licorice

Hi everyone!

Happy St Patrick’s Day! :D

(These were my nails for the big day, and this was supposed to be posted on time, but I had technical issues)

(And no, I don’t mean I had too much green beer! :)

You are looking at the Irish Flag on my ring finger and little Guinnesses on my other fingers. Which, I thought, was the perfect representation of the day itself!

I used Essie Licorice (black), Sinful Colors Snow Me White (white), Sinful Colors Envy (green) and OPI A Roll in the Hague (gold).

Hope you all had a great day! Leprechauns for everyone!

I had to take a pic of the Irish Flag polishes too – I was feeling very patriotic! :)

I also wanted to show you the little shamrock earrings I ordered from BornPrettyStore.com. They had a St Patrick’s Day sale and what kind of an Irish girl on St Patrick’s Day would I be without shamrock earrings!? I couldn’t resist! They are too friggin cute!

They roped me in with their free samples and 10% off coupon code and now I can’t stop buying things off them! *Shakes fist in anger but then stops to admire tiny cheap earrings* :D

Last thing! I took part in the #NailLinkUp this month! Twice! It’s a really great idea run by a bunch of great bloggers – here are the details for this month and go to any of the bloggers listed below for more deets :)

and here are all the links to the bloggers that took part in the St Patrick’s Day challenge :D

Nails Inc Emerald Street and Essence The Most Wonderful Tree

Hi :)

This is why I love Nails Inc.! Perfect formula, rich colour and a beautiful finish. Nails Inc. make some of the dreamiest polishes ever made!

(I’m trying so hard not to mention the free nail polishes that they give away with promotions, they are terrible! I got one free with toothpaste last week and didn’t post it because it bubbled so much.)

This is a glowy, deep, rich green and the perfect polish for St Patrick’s Day! Even the name is perfect for it, Emerald Street. :)

Nails Inc Emerald Street:

343.1 Nails Inc Emerald Street and Jamberry Wrap

I added two coats of Essence The Most Wonderful Tree the next day. I got this polish at Christmas because it looks like you shredded a beautiful green, sparkly Christmas tree and then used it to paint your nails. I’m not making it sound as great as it looks. It has lots of deep green and holographic glitter of different sizes.

Essence The Most Wonderful Tree over Nails Inc Emerald Street:

P.s. This is the free sample of the Jamberry Nails nail wrap in Black&White Stripe after wearing it for a week. It has a tiny bit of tip wear and it came away from the cuticle a tiny bit, but it was like that when I applied it because I didn’t run a cuticle stick over it to smooth it down like the instructions said. I’m a rebel!

Overall I’m really impressed with the wear on these! I removed it after taking the pic but it would have lasted longer. I hope they become available internationally soon, I’ve been drooling over Jamberry for years! Now that I’ve had this free sample, I only want them more! :)

Hard Candy Jubilee

Hi :)

Jubilee is a green jelly nail polish with tiny and large black glitter, silver hex and orange bar glitter. The formula was a bit thick, the bar glitter stuck out everywhere and the colour was patchy, but it’s the perfect look for a Halloween mani!

The colour reminded me of when they slime someone at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Anyone else used to love that? :)

I added drippy’s using my Model’s Own Nail Art Pen for Halloween in January! :)

Hard Candy Fun n’ Festive

Hi :)

Fun n’ Festive is green, gold, orange and black glitter in a dark green base. It’s very Halloween. It looked a bit dark and murky when I put it on first so I added a coat of Essie Matte About You to bring out the glitter.

It’s weird and dark and green but it kind of works! I’m definitely going to wear this again in October. :)

What do you think? Does it work?

Wet n Wild I Need A Refresh-Mint

Hi :)

I’m having lots of fun experimenting with nail art but it’s so scary because it’s very difficult to make it look like it does on Pinterest! Those girls are professionals! (Nail Technicians, not the other kind of professional. ;)

Today I thought, “Why try one nail art effect, when you can try them all?” and I ended up with dots, stripes, chevrons and (always) glitter!

– I used NYC Frozen Metal (silver) under Wet n Wild I Need A Refresh-Mint (green) for the stripes on my index finger.

– My Middle finger is two coats of No7 Snow Wash over I Need A Refresh-Mint.

– Ring finger is Rimmel Disco Fever, hand placed, over NYC Frozen Metal.

– Pinkie is Deborah Lippman Amazing Grace over I Need A Refresh-Mint.

My version of Pinterest nails:
