Hi again everyone!
Here’s a super quick and super cute, (if I do say so myself!), mani.
The polish is L’Oreal Opera Ballerina, the most beautiful pale nude polish ever. I usually hate sheer polishes, I really don’t like seeing my nails under polish, but this has such a pretty french manicure effect, that I fell in love. (With myself.) (Take that every fairy tale ever told!)
I think I already mentioned how much I love L’Oreal polishes, (See: every post about L’Oreal that I ever wrote), because the formula is like butta! (Do people still say butta?) Anyway, it applies like a dream!
L’Oreal Opera Ballerina:
The cat decal is from BornPrettyStore.com and they work just like those tattoos you get in bubble gum. You remove the plastic, place it over the nail, wet it and then remove the paper and voila! Cute Cat picture on your nails! They are so quick and easy to use. Why needs a hundred nail art tools when you have instant stickers!
I mean, just look at that lil face! I just wanna smush his cute lil facie wacie! Yesh I do! Yesh I do wanna smuch his lil facie wacie!
If you want to try these cute cat decals then you can get them here and you can use this code to get 10% off all full price items on BornPrettyStore.com.
Thanks for looking! Hope you liked the cat as much as I did! :)
Hi everyone! :)
You just can’t beat a good red nail polish. It cures all! (It cures some). (Ok, it doesn’t cure anything, but it can cheer you up a bit).
After applying topcoat, I glued on these Born Pretty Store decorations. I really like them. You get five in a pack and they’re curved to fit the nail, which means they don’t catch in anything. (I was afraid they would catch in everything!) I ended up wearing them for two days with no problems.
The L’Oreal had a great formula too, the more I try these polishes the more I like them.

Maybelline Green Depth is one of the Crystallize nail polishes, which is a collection of liquid sand polishes.
It’s a black polish with green/purple duochrome glass fleck and it is utterly gorgeous.
Maybelline Green Depth (No topcoat)
If you squint at the bottle, you can see the glass fleck is green in the middle and purple towards the edge. I love this polish!
However, it’s at this point that I messed the whole thing up!
Now, my original idea was to use this gorgeous Born Pretty Store shell paper over the polish to get irregularly shaped green flashes over a subtle green shimmer background. But this didn’t happen. “Why?”.
My first mistake was trying to stick the smooth plastic shell paper over liquid sand, because of the gritty finish of the polish, the paper couldn’t adhere.
Then I thought I could fix the whole thing by smothering it with topcoat but because the shell paper wasn’t stuck properly, it kept lifting, and the liquid sand polish kept soaking up all the topcoat, so I ended up with a lumpy finish. (Not a good look).
However, I still loved how the shell paper looked! I just made a mistake pairing it with a liquid sand polish. I’m definitely going to try it again and use it with a regular polish. :)
Have any of you succeeded in creating this type of nail look? Any tips for me? :)

These nails were supposed to be for the April #NailLinkUp, but I’m a little late posting them!
When I saw the theme Spring Flowers, I actually squeeled, because BornPrettyStore sent me these gorgeous little 3D Daisy’s to review and I couldn’t wait to try them and how perfectly do they fit the theme?! (I know, I know, I get way too excited about nails!)
The daisy’s are made of a kind of soft, rubber material, so they are really nice to use. They’re also really cute! They come in all kinds of lovely colours and are $1.99 for two. If you use my discount code below then they’re even cheaper and don’t forget they do free worldwide delivery! (Do I sound like an infomercial? I just love these flingin’ flanin’ things so much! :)
The polish is a free Nails Inc that came with the June 2013 edition of InStyle, called You’re a Peach. It’s a pretty pastel colour and the formula is ok, but not as good as real Nails Inc polishes. (I swear the free ones are different!)

Now that we finally have some sunshine here, I want to wear neon! I love neon nails, they look so vivid in the sun. Do you wear neon in the Summer? I get a lot of comments when I wear neon, not all of it positive! (So rude!)
I put on two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White, the best white nail polish I have ever used, then put striping tape down the middle of my nail and added a thick coat of Orly Beach Cruiser on one side.
Beach Cruiser photographed a bit darker than it is in person but it’s so difficult to capture neon, especially in the Sun. The camera reacts like my cat when I’m trying to give it medicine, “No! NO! NO!“.
Then I added some round neon pink glitter from BornPrettyStore.com. The glitter is 1.68 euro and they do free worldwide shipping AND this code will get you a further 10% off, which makes it a bargain in any language! :)

One of the free samples Bornprettystore sent me was this fab little pot of different size studs. The colours are so pretty, they’re a mix of neon and pastel. I thought when I saw them on the website that they were all neon, but when I got them and saw that half of them were pastel, I knew I had to do a look for the #NAILLINKUP. (Click the image to go to CraftyNail’s website where you can find out more :)
I used Barry M Prickly Pear, one of the Gelly polishes, and the new Essence Cinderella glitter topper called The Glass Slipper.
The Essence is jam packed with pink/purple glassfleck and silver glitter and it’s soo freakin pretty. In the bottle the polish looks green too but that doesn’t show up on the nail.
Then I added a few of the pastel pink studs at the cuticle. I love adding one stud to the top of the nail, it’s so simple but completely changes the entire look.

When you look into the bottle you can see this green light, it’s so pretty :)

BornPrettyStore.com sent me more free samples! Hurray! This time I have some amazing gold glitter and some gold cats! I’ve already posted a few items from their website and I think their products are great quality and the prices are so low! Plus they do free worldwide delivery. AND they gave me a 10% off code that you can use – I do love a discount code! (Does anyone else Google discount codes before they buy online? You should!) I love everything they’ve sent me so far and I’ve picked out some more stuff myself, they sell evvverything! :)
The #12 gold glitter is gorgeous, it comes in a nice big pot so there’s plenty. It’s a rich, bright, gold colour and it’s really sparkly. It glows like it’s real gold! (I wish!)
The 3D cat is the same colour gold and it’s super cute! It has a little rhinestone on it’s tail! You get five, so order two packets if you want one for every finger :)
Here they are together with Essie Licorice; The glitter is loose, so I painted my ring finger with one coat of topcoat and dipped it into the pot of glitter while it was still wet. Then I brushed off the excess with a fan brush and then added two more coats of topcoat. I have to do a full mani with just this glitter! So glowy o.O
Here’s a better angle of the Cat, isn’t she so cute! Look at her little paws and ears! :D (Can you tell I’m a cat lady?)
Here’s a pic of the glitter just because it was so pretty! :D I really love the colour.
Thanks for looking! :D
If you want to try something from bornprettystore.com, (I recommend the glitter!), then don’t forget to use the 10% off code they gave me!
This is my third time in a row to wear this polish, I just keep taking it off and then putting it back on again!
I love it so much!
If, like me, you struggle to find the perfect nude polish, if you can never achieve the fabled “Mannequin Hands”, if you want to look like you are not wearing nail polish, but simply have beautiful healthy shiny nails, then this is the one for you! I implore you! Buy this! Buy it now! *Hypnotoad says buy this now*
It’s a nude polish but it has just a hint of pink, not enough to mistake it for a pink polish, but just enough so that your hands look like they belong to a real human. (Zombie hands is something I get with most nudes, but I prefer them to look human, don’t you?)
If you wear it with just one or two coats you get the “my nails but better” look, but I used four coats because I wanted an opaque background for my neon glitter.
Bornprettystore.com sent me this glitter as a free sample. It is eye-searingly bright. It’s the most neon of all things neon! I love it of course!
What’s not to love?
Plus it only costs E1.67 and if you use my discount code, AZHW10, then it’s only E1.50 and they deliver worldwide for free. So for the change in your purse will can buy a tiny pot of happiness! :D

I loved yesterday’s checker water decals so much I didn’t take them off! I’ve never kept polish on one nail and changed the others but it’s such a cute design, I couldn’t dissolve it! I’ll never be able to recreate those little squares so perfectly ever again. I’m hoarding the rest of the packet like the ring of Mordor. :)
The red polish is NYC Ruby Queen. I’ve gushed over my love of the Crystal Couture collection here and here and I’m going to gush again! I LOVE this collection! It’s a set of jelly polishes packed with glitter and they are so bright and sparkly and squishy! I looove them so hard! You must try them, you won’t be disappointed.
This one is red and pink glitter in a jelly base, the glitter glowed within the jelly. Then I wanted to make it more Valentine-y so I added the word “Love”, shakily. See why I can’t ever recreate the little squares? :) But then the single bitter side of me poked it’s little head out and I added “Hate” to my pinkie and then I just drew squiggles for funsies. :)
NYC Ruby Queen (Crystal Couture) and bornprettystore.com water decals:
Pay no attention to the bitter, lonely pinkie finger.
Then I added Essie Matte About You:
Are you going to try any Valentine’s nail art? :)
